Reared by a salami maker on the Northwest side of Chicago, Jeff Mauro aka “Chef Jeff” became adept at denying the existence of La Cosa Nostra or the “Mafia” at an early age. Not one to deny his heritage, it is not uncommon for Mauro to screen a copy of Rocky 4; often times getting emotional over Apollo Creed’s death scene. Though perfectly content to work on his Camaro and rock a gold chain; Chef Jeff had an even bigger dream: to become the greatest Chef the world had known. |

Ali Alexander Khan the IIIIIII was born on a cool May afternoon in St. Louis, United States. Though an American citizen, his roots are so deep in the Jungles and Dunes of Bombay, that the local Indian peoples actually consider him a half-prince. His royal roots extend back 17 centuries and a least 2 decades. The Crowned General Akbar Bashiti (pictured left in the portrait) was a Great Great Great Uncle of Ali. Akbar was not only a man of great importance but he was a key believer in the importance of lamb cuisine; a belief that was passed down each generation. Young Ali benefited from this very much. At just 6 months old, Ali gave up his mother's teet and demanded meat. His first English word was in fact "Lambee" (the first word he actually spoke was an Indian word: "Ganoopda" or "To Braise Shortrib.") Through each year of aging, Ali continued to immerse himself in cuisine. He learned the proper techniques for de boning a mule (from his first Uncle Abdoo) and how to properly build a two-stage fire on a Weber Kettle BBQ. Today he is a confident young man who is not afraid to cook anything or drink whatever amounts of booze his liver can handle. He actually once, after a night of cooking and drinking, shit out an entire flight of Pinot. With the deminoir of Royalty, the beard of a Saint and the appetite of a Brazalian Butcher. Ali Khan is excited to bestow upon the internet and the world, his zest for life (meat). HOME
